Staff have been reaching out to students through class dojo, student emails, and phone working on non traditional day work and answering any questions. Please contact the teachers via emails or the school phone number 304-653-4221 if you have any questions.
Students moving on to the county Social Studies Fair will be going tomorrow Wednesday 3-3-26 after breakfast.
Second Grade students will be going to Snowshoe on Thursday and Friday leaving after breakfast.
Fifth grade students will be having their Living History Museum on Friday, community is welcome to attend 9:00-11:30 and 1:15-3:00.
Friday evening HES will be having Bingo. Door open at 5:00, games begin at 6:00.

📢 Important Weather Make Up Day Update

As many of you know, Pocahontas County Schools has already used all 5 Snow Days and 5 Non Traditional Instruction (snow packet) days for this school year. In addition, students missed 3 extra days that must be made up in the school calendar.

As approved by the PCS Board of Education on 2/17/2026, our current make up plan is:
