A couple of announcements.
Today is the last day to order from BSN for clothing apparel to support the need for new lockers at MMS! Pocahontas County health department will be doing immunization clinics at GBEMS and PCHS on April 18th and at MMS on April 19th. These will be for the upcoming 7th and 12th graders for the 2023-2024 school year. Permission forms will be coming home that need to be returned to the school by April 6th. The immunizations will be given with no charge to the parent.
Just a reminder that Pocahontas County Schools have scheduled 3-hour early outs for students on the following days: March 31, April 21 and May 5.
We wanted to let individuals know that the Book Fair will be open additional hours on Monday, March 27 from 3:30 - 5:30 if you would like to shop at the Book Fair. Thank you for supporting MMS!
MMS has decided to open the spiritwear back up for individuals who missed it the first time. This will be used towards our locker fund. MMS is in need of new lockers and this will help us meet our goal. Thanks in advance!

The in-person book fair will be on school days from Thursday 3/23 - Monday 3/27. We are also hoping to open the book fair Thursday evening for an hour or two depending on interest.

Monday, March 13th is a PL day for staff. Students do not have school.
Pocahontas County 8th grade students will be attending the 2023 8th grade luncheon at Snowshoe Mountain Resort on Thursday, March 9th. MMS students will leave at 8:45 am and will return by the end of the day to ride regular buses home. Students are to dress appropriately for a business event and the weather. If the students are well behaved and engaged with the program, they will be permitted to walk through the village with MMS staff.
In honor of James DeHaven Thursday will be Blue and Gold day and Friday will be Maroon and Gold day.
