Reminder: Students are not permitted to have energy drinks at any Pocahontas County Schools. The American Academy of Pediatrics states that caffeine and other stimulant substances contained in energy drinks have no place in the diet of children and adolescents..
A few reminders about the upcoming Veteran's Day holiday: First, all 5 district schools will be hosting Veteran's Day Programs, and those details can be found on the Pocahontas County Schools website. We would be honored for you to join us at those events. Additionally, on Monday, November 11th, all schools will be closed to observe the national Veteran's Day holiday.
